Bradley Wiggins is most definitely the man of the hour after his amazing success in winning the Tour de France last week. He’s become a household name and has once again played a huge role in promoting the sport of road racing in Britain. Wiggo, as he is known to his fans, has also unwittingly been promoting something else whilst cycling to victory in France: the humble sideburn!
Wiggins sported an impressive pair of chops throughout his successful bid for the Tour de France, and has now apparently stated that there’s no way he’d consider shaving off his lucky sideburns for fear of jinxing his winning form before the Olympics. Wiggins is looking to add to his already impressive haul of medals from previous games, and of course this time around he’ll be playing home advantage.
By the end of his time in France, cycling fans were spotted lining the route whilst sporting some impressive, though undoubtedly false, facial hair in support of Wiggo.
