It has sadly been announced that the film director of the Batman sagas, Christopher Nolan, is to make the next Batman film his last. The up-coming film, The Dark Knight Rises, is going to be Nolans last of the Batman films and it set to be released in the summer of 2012. Nolan has reportedly said to be very happy to be embarking on the last chapter of the Batman saga, and that he is enthusiastic about finishing the story.
The Dark Knight Rises will be film number three of this latest saga, following Batman Begins in 2005 and The Dark Knight from 2008, and it will once again see Christian Bale appearing as the Caped Crusader.
Reportedly Nolan is holding auditions for other leading roles so why not get your Joker Fancy Dress Costume or Batgirl Fancy Dress Costume on and try your luck.
