It has been reported that an Arctic Blast is to hit the United Kingdom this week, bringing with it 20cm of snow. The heaviest snowfalls are allegedly to be seen around the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and East Anglia area. The predicted weather for this week is a sign that freezing temperatures are on their way and forecasters have predicted this could worsen later in the season. Reports show that forecasters say it is too early to predict a white Christmas.
However it isn’t all cold weather news as it has been reported that the forecasters also predict a warmer than average start to the new year, due to the cooling of the tropical seas, which have been known to affect the weather patterns across the globe.
