It’s been 8 months since Apple CEO and technological visionary Steve Jobs lost his battle with pancreatic cancer so I suppose it was only a matter of time before Hollywood sought to depict his extraordinary life on the big screen.
Surely one of the single most influential figures of the technological age, we have Jobs’ vision to thank for many of the gizmos and gadgets that we just can’t live without these days. The film focuses on the formative early years of Steve’s amazing career and we’re sure there’ll be plenty of material for the film makers to choose from as they bring his story to life.
Filming is already underway on location in North California on the biopic which is set to be titled simply “Jobs”. Ashton Kutcher has been spotted on set sporting some fetching seventies fashions and facial hair as he takes on the role of a young Steve Jobs setting out on his career. For an extra dose of vintage flavour, the most recent pictures from the set also depict some authentic 70s styling in the shape of a 1972 Corvette Stingray sports car.
The 70s is a great decade for nostalgia and the fabulously hippy dippy vintage look makes for an unfailingly popular fancy dress theme. If you’re a fan of the fashions dating back to the days when Steve Jobs was just starting out in his career then you’ll find some groovy dressing up outfits in our far out 60s and 70s Fancy Dress store. Bestselling costumes from this range for both men and women include the Hippie Fancy Dress Costume, the Woodstock Flower Girl Fancy Dress Costume and the Disco Fever Fancy Dress Costume. Right on man!
