2012 is going to be a big year for the UK, with the Queens Diamond Jubilee in June and, of course, who could avoid the plans for the London 2012 Olympics? The adverts are starting to appear on our TVs, a new 50p coin has been released by the Royal Mint showing each of the 29 Olympic and Paralympic sports and not forgetting the final dash to ensure the best seats.
The Olympic Torch Relay has been planned and it is reported that over 8,000 people will carry the Olympic Flame across the UK to its destination in London. Starting on 19th May, it is said that the torch will pass within 10 miles of 95% of people in the UK.
So start making plans and do miss out on this momentous occasion. Get all your friends and neighbours together and support the torch bearers as they pass through your nearest town. Why not use some fun Supporters Accessories to show Olympic support. Wear some Union Jack fancy dress like a Great Britain Body Cape or fun accessories like these Fluffy Great Britain Headboppers.
