Today it was reported that the Actors in the new Spider-man musical were left hanging around for spectators to watch. It all happened during the showing of the most expensive show to be staged on Broadway. The Actors started the show and everything seemed to be going well but during parts of the show some Actors were left suspended due to the stunts going wrong which wasn’t very spider-man at all. Celebrate St. Andrews Day
Today is a day that will be celebrated all over Scotland as people from all different backgrounds wear Blue and White. St. Andrews Day is celebrated on the 30th November each year, and the celebration acknowledges the patron saint of Scotland. In 2006 the Scottish Parliament made St. Andrew’s Day a Bank Holiday in Scotland so that everybody could celebrate. Continue reading
Help the Heroes and the X Factor
Everybody was delighted this week as the Help the Heroes song “Heroes” went to number one. The 16 wannabes celebrated their first number one hit. Poor Wagner however only got to feature in the chorus whilst the remaining wannabes sang their hearts out and raised money for the troops. Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson opened the song by singing the first lines. Continue reading
Download and Systems of a Down
It was reported today that System of a Down will play at the Download Rock Festival in June 2011. The Band have reformed and will be hitting Donington in full force. System of a Down allegedly will also play in a number of other groups including Germanys “Rock I’m Park” and “Rock Am Ring”. Referees go on Strike
Today the Scottish Football League reportedly decided to cancel the one remaining match that was due to be played this weekend. A spokesman said “The decision was made by the League after Referees all over Scotland decided to go on strike”. Allegedly Polish officials have also gone on strike which has stopped the Morton v Falkirk match today. Continue reading
