As the festival season gets underway many people will be making their way to their favourite festival to have some party fun. Though the summer sun during the day makes helps making these festivals a fantastic time a great part of the festival experience is the overnight stay in that all too small tent.
At this point it is time to take the fancy dress costumes and accessories of the day off and change into some glow in the dark extravaganzas.
When going glow in the dark you can go with just an odd item like glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets but if you are doing that why not go the whole hog and have more of a costume and accessories. A few ideas which may help are below.
The Glow Face
You can get some really funky and fun items for your face. One of them is UV Colour Party Paints. This is a small pack of 3 paints in green, yellow and red and is an ideal size to slip into your festival survival pack easily. Paint it on in patterns on your face for it to look great. Crazy lenses are a fantastic addition to fancy dress. You can get many types of lenses including glow in the dark. So besides the glow theme there are some great ones to choose from including a silver glitter look which i mean who can resist a little look of glitter. You can also get some unconventional looking rainbow coloured glow in the dark eyelashes for that extra pizzazz.
The Glow Body
With this part of the festive festival wear why not add an 80’s Madonna trash vibe to the mix. Leg warmers where a very popular item to wear in the 80’s and they come in a variety of colours including neon orange, green and yellow. Whilst you are at it why not match it to a cute and colourful tutu. These great little numbers can be worn over leggings, shorts or thick tights.
There you have it your neon glow festival look. Just add a few glow bracelets to the mix.
