Red Nose Day Fancy Dress

There have been many reports and stories of how people are planning on fund raising for Red Nose Day this year. I have seen lots of sponsored walks and silences, celebrities doing stunts and much more but one that caught my eye this morning was a supermarket with its staff members dressing up.

The report said that the supermarket worker is planning on dressing up and walking to work in a sponsored comedy walk. I loved this idea. She has her Red Nose Day nose at the ready but is just deciding on her Red Nose Day Fancy Dress choice – she allegedly cannot decide between a Rabbit Fancy Dress Costume and a Clown Fancy Dress Costume. The Kings Speech was once again triumphant

Once again The Kings Speech has won top awards. In last nights Oscar Academy Awards Colin Firth and fellow movie workers won four gongs for the great film released earlier this year.

Colin Firth took Best Actor and finally Tom Hooper won Best Director for the film, the first time he has won this award. So Colin has had to once again take to the stage with a thank you speech and as usual he came across fantastic with a witty speech. Continue reading →

Fox makes home in sky scraper

Foxes are renowned for being inquisitive and the fox that has been found living 72 storeys off the ground in a London sky scraper has certainly proved this. Allegedly builders found the fox, who they have named Romeo, wondering around the 288 metre sky scraper, The Shard Building, in London. Continue reading →

Hollywood films boost UK tourism

It has been reported that many of the recent Hollywood Blockbuster movies have allegedly increased visits to some UK tourist spots due to filming being held there.
